I found this quote online by accident, and it really hit the spot emotionally and psychologically. Also reminded me that, though I've read several of Williams's plays (and seen a few more of the movies based on his plays), I don't have anything by Williams in my library! Though he's a kindred spirit in his themes (yes, gay men and THIS gay woman, at least, have similar psyches: a sense of the grotesque in society, for one, and how "outliers" in society like gays are forced to engage with the grotesque, despite what may be our own more innate inclinations).
