Joan Crawford = darn intense.

"Johnny Guitar," 1954.

I first fell in love with Crawford in 1987 after seeing her in '32's "Rain" and "Grand Hotel," then "Johnny," then 56's "Autumn Leaves." She's just about the only actress who has ever given me goosebumps watching her. (Jessica Lange in "Frances," too, but that was a one-time thing.)
