This little stray cat was hanging around my back door, and on my front window-sill, in 2019.
She'd travel back and forth, between front window and back door, and say "hi."

One night in December 2019, it was freezing cold and raining, and she was huddled
underneath a small bush near my back door. I let her inside.
For the next entire YEAR, she did NOT let me touch her. If I even looked at her, she'd scurry away. (If this had been my only cat, I'd have been worried and chasing her around trying to find out what was wrong. But since I had 4 others in the house as of April 2019...Eh---What's one more!)
After maybe 8 or so months, Cinco started to sit next to me at my computer. But I still couldn't touch her. After a year: She finally let me pet her! :)
Today, in 2025, she's finally at home: Ensconced on top of a sofa cushion, as all the other cats usually are! (She's also a "bathroom cat"---the second I sit down on the toilet, she runs right in. Cinco and Pete both. Why is that? Do they think they get some extra attention because I'm supposedly TRAPPED on the toilet seat and then must pet them? The other 3 cats never come in there! You two guys are freaks!)
