John looked so cool while performing, but, per his intro, he was actually a huge nerd. I keep trying to find the psychological key to his Yoko-thing... She was "cool" (i.e., nonchalant and rich), plus his relationship with her tried to mirror the earlier relationship with Stu Sutcliffe and Astrid Kirchherr that he'd witnessed and found so sexy and dramatic and wanted to re-create. Unfortunately for all of us, Yoko and Yoko's "art" weren't that inspiring, except in John's mind. She was no Astrid Kirchherr, though he wished her to be. And insisted that she be. To no avail.
